Texas Homeward Bound Animal Rescue

Texas Homeward Bound Animal Rescue is dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming at-risk animals across Texas. Every day we work to give abandoned, neglected, and injured dogs and cats a second chance at life. Many of the animals we rescue come from difficult circumstances—owner surrenders, overcrowded shelters, or life on the streets—and arrive needing urgent medical care, stability, and compassion.

Through the support of our volunteers, fosters, and community partners, we provide these animals with everything they need to heal and thrive. Animals in our program are placed in loving foster homes where they can recover both physically and emotionally in a safe environment. While in our care, each animal receives the veterinary attention it deserves—from vaccinations and preventative care to critical treatments and life-saving surgeries—ensuring they are healthy, safe, and ready to begin the next chapter of their lives.

Beyond rescue and rehabilitation, Texas Homeward Bound is deeply committed to addressing the root causes of pet homelessness. We actively support and promote spay-and-neuter initiatives to reduce pet overpopulation and work to educate the community about responsible pet ownership. By partnering with veterinarians, local organizations, and compassionate supporters, we strive to create sustainable solutions that protect animals and strengthen the communities we serve.
